Betty Tucker, PTA
Betty Tucker graduated from the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Somerset Community College in 1997. She has been practicing PT for over 15 years and has experience working in various settings, including outpatient, nursing home, and school system. Betty is also AFAA certified (American Fitness & Aerobics Association) and teaches group exercise classes. Betty also takes continuing education courses to stay current in the latest advances in physical therapy. She is now a certified Health and Wellness Coach.
Betty has an eclectic array of interests ranging from gardening to Tai Chi, and is also a coffee enthusiast. She advocates for health and wellness and loves spending time with family and connecting with her community.
Rachel Wagers, PTA
Rachel graduated from the Physical Therapy Assistant Program at Somerset Community College, and has held her PTA license since 2004. She had worked in various inpatient and outpatient settings before becoming a member of the Cumberland Physical Therapy and Rehab team in 2009.
Rachel enjoys working with a variety of patients and wants to help them achieve their full potential. She lives in London with her husband and son, and enjoys every minute spent with them, and watching University of Kentucky ball games.
Jennifer Graham, PTA
Jennifer is a vibrant member of our licensed therapy team. She graduated from Somerset Community College in 1992 with her Associates in Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Since then she has worked in several outpatient clinics, home health physical therapy, school systems, and skilled nursing facilities in South Eastern Kentucky. Jennifer has stayed current with trends and practices in Physical Therapy by regularly fulfilling continuing education requirements.
Family and church involvement is also a large part of her lifestyle. One of the many ways she serves her community is through the “Project 58:10” through her church. (a local ministry dedicated to meeting the nutrition needs of children that receive reduced or free lunch in the local schools) She is loved and respected by her clients and co-workers. Jennifer always keeps a positive outlook and has a smile on her face.
Business Manager, Cumberland PT& Rehab
Karen is a graduate of the IVY Tech Nursing Program in 1978, after graduating from Indiana Business College in 1977 with an Associates Degree in Education.
She now resides in Eubank, Ky and has worked in various positions and locations in the area. She had previously worked at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in the ICU & CCU, and in the Emergency Room. She has also worked as a Home Health Nurse. She is currently the Business Manager of Cumberland Physical Therapy and Rehab.
She lives at home with her husband, Kevin, of 40 years. Together, they enjoy their 3 children and 11 grandchildren. She also enjoys crafting.
